Lynn became interested in real estate when he lived in Charlottesville, Virginia, home of Thomas Jefferson's two architectural wonders: The University of Virginia and his home, Monticello. At law school in Virginia, Lynn's interest in real estate deepened as he took every real estate course he could find. Visits to Monticello and to other Virginia country estates, further provided insight into land, design, and architecture.
After graduating from law school, Lynn gained further experience as a practicing real estate attorney as a partner with one of the top law firms in Birmingham.
A chance meeting with Phyllis Tinsley was all it took and Lynn became a member of the Tinsley Family of Real Estate Professionals.
